Build your own label and brand identity. Design and enterprise are taught as one discipline from day one, and you graduate with a resolved collection and a brand direction ready to launch.

About JCA

Built to meet a standard. Not a syllabus.

JCA exists to produce many kinds of graduate — designers, communicators, strategists, makers — but the standard they leave to is the same: industry-ready, portfolio-complete, able to contribute from day one. The campus sits in Mayfair not for prestige, but because proximity to the industry is part of the curriculum. Studio hours, live briefs, and tutor relationships with working practitioners replace the lecture-hall model that still defines most fashion education in the UK.

Mayfair
Sits in the heart of London's flagship fashion district, with studio teaching housed in the same building JCA operates from rather than a satellite campus elsewhere.
JCA Boston Manor Campus
Boston Manor
Taught on the historic Boston Manor estate, a dedicated atelier space built for garment and accessory craft, working studio conditions rather than a lecture hall repurposed for a creative subject.

Common questions.

Can I apply through Clearing? ▾
Yes. JCA participates in UCAS Clearing for September 2026 entry. You can apply directly through our site or call our admissions team from 8am on Results Day (13 August 2026).
Do I need a portfolio? ▾
Portfolio requirements vary by course. Design courses ask for a portfolio review. Communication and Management courses and all Foundation Year entries do not require a formal portfolio — we look at your creative background holistically.
Are Student Finance loans available? ▾
Yes. All JCA degree programmes are eligible for Student Finance England tuition fee loans. The Foundation Diploma also qualifies. Our admissions team can guide you through the application if needed.
What entry grades do I need? ▾
Typical offers range from 64–112 UCAS points depending on the course. Foundation Year routes accept from 32 points. We look at the whole picture — your interest, background, and portfolio where applicable. If you're unsure, call us.
How quickly will I hear back after applying? ▾
On Results Day our admissions team aims to respond within the hour. We know Clearing moves fast and we do too.
